CHC-Compassionate In Home Personal Care Services has been serving the elderly in Northeastern Pennsylvania (CHC) since January 1, 2004. CHC is a licensed HOMECARE PROVIDED by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania under the AGENCY MODEL.

Our caregivers are employees who  have  criminal background checks, exclusionary checks and references checked by CHC. Our caregivers are our employees and are covered by workers' compensation and liability insurance.

CHC offers in your home personal care services throughout Lackawanna County primarily but also provides care in Luzerne, Wayne, Wyoming and Monroe Counties.

​CHC is funded in part by funds for services rendered to Lackawanna County Area Agency on Aging consumers.
